What I do every day: Initially appointed as an agricultural property valuer, I conduct farm valuations in the Southern Africa region. However, with Rode being predominantly involved in the valuation of (mostly) commercial and industrial properties for listed funds and individual property investors, I became involved with the valuation of all aspects of property assessment. More recently, a surge in the demand for the valuation of vacant land with the potential for township development has seen me focusing also on ‘development’ valuations.

And about me: I have been married for 10 years to my roommate, the amazing Elizabeth, and we have three children, Jana (7), Francois (5) & Jean (a couple of weeks). We are nature lovers and regularly travel to the Kalahari area and Namibia. I am a canoeist, I enjoy mountain-biking and I stay humble by playing golf. Except for the SASI-swimwear photographers, I have the best job in the world.
