South African Property News: Advanced Search

Search criteria:

Advanced search allows you to search based on one or more terms, with any of the following operators:

• + A leading plus sign indicates that the word must be present
• - A leading minus signs indicates the word must not be present
• * A asterisk following a word will act as a wildcard
• ( ) Parenthesis group words into subexpressions
• ~ A leading tilde reduces the contribution of a word to the relavance score
• " Double quotes around a phrase or expression matches that phrase exactly as typed

Examples:

• +property +finance will find articles containing the words 'property' and 'finance'
• +property finance -Jo* will find articles containing the word 'property', rank it higher if it contains the word 'finance' and not include it if it contains an word starting with 'Jo' (e.g. 'Johannesburg' or 'Joburg')
• property (Jo* Cape) will find articles with either 'property' and 'joburg' or 'property' and 'Cape'
