Rode's privacy policy
Rode is committed to protecting the
personal privacy rights of its customers. All personal information is
considered private and confidential. Rode will not disclose customer
names, addresses, or account information to unaffiliated third parties,
other than:
- Where customers request or consent to disclosure.
- Where we have agreed to provide information under contracts
(e.g. to credit card bureaus), and
- Where the customer has been informed about the possibility of
sharing information for marketing or other similar purposes through
a prior communication and the customer has been given the opportunity
to decline.
- Where we are legally required to do so.
Rode's obligations as described above shall not extend to any
information that:
- has become publicly known through no wrongful act of Rode;
- is or has been rightfully received from a third party without
restriction on disclosure and without breach of this Contract;
- has been furnished by customers of Rode's clients to a third
party without similar restrictions on disclosure.
Rode's Web site does not include any functionality allowing
third parties to perform searches to identify individuals from information
registered with Rode.
